I am thankful for...

1. Life. Life is such a blessing. Every day I wake up I am grateful to have another day to be with my husband and children. There are so many wonderful things in life that help us be happy, but the true joy I feel comes from being with my family.
2. Organization Skills. I have been tremendously blessed in my life to have the desire to keep things clean and organized. I can still function quite well when they are not, but everything has a place and life is definitely easier in my household when things are in their place.
3. Positive Feedback. I have learned to be self-reliant in many ways. I have also learned to not really care what people think of me. I know who I am, where I come from and where I am going. Nothing else really matters. However, to have positive feedback and a little hint of approval still goes a long way.
4. Blender. I wish mine was much better than it is, but I am still grateful to have it.
5. "Squeeze-o". This is what the Shumway's call a food strainer. I used theirs today while making applesauce. It was so convenient and wonderful to have! Thanks Alisha!!!
6. Pre-Packaged Sandwich meat. Today we needed a quick lunch. I think what life would be if I had to get the turkey and cook it and then use that for the meat. Now don't get me wrong, I LOVE turkey that way. I just don't necessarily always have time for it that way. It was helpful to be able to take it out of a package and put it on a sandwich - just another wonderful convenience of life.
7. Pantry. Our last home did not have a pantry. I am extremely grateful to have one now. I know many people don't have one that allows as much storage as I have. For that I am blessed.
8. Bubbles. This is just something so simple in life, yet it brings children so much happiness. I love to see their excitement and energy as they work the bubbles themselves!
9. Whole Wheat. I am working hard to make sure my family is eating healthier. Whole wheat is such a wonderful thing to have to do this. In the last month I have made whole wheat bread, pancakes, and waffles. I have tasted someone else's whole wheat chocolate chip cookies. They were to die for!! Takes a little guilt from eating the cookie away!
10. Bathroom. One comparison - Outhouse or bathroom. I will take the bathroom - having to clean it and all over an outhouse any day!!!

I have been enjoying reading all of your many thankful moments, and your Trish Moment.

Don't most tired moms have moments like that? Instead of my foreheard, I almost ripped off my twin toes in the middle of the night in the hotel.

After recently camping at Camp Zion with the family, I have to agree: bathrooms over outhouses any day!
