10 things I am grateful for...

For about two months I wrote down every day 10 things I was grateful for. My goal was to never repeat anything. In the beginning it was very easy. But as time went on it made me really stop to think what I was thankful for in my life. I haven't done it in a while and decided that it was time to start up again (or start over rather). I am going to attempt to get on here and post them every day! Here are my first ten things!

1. My husband, Josh, who always puts me first and selflessly helps me with whatever I need.
2. Alexis - I love her strong personality and her desire to learn, and do things right the first time.
3. MacKenzie - Her sweet and cheery disposition. She always has a way of warming my heart.
4. Bailey - Always has a desire to have fun. She is usually the instigator, but she keeps me laughing (if I am not upset by her mischievous adventures).
5. Brendon - He is such a boy. His big dimples just light up his face. He loves to smile and laugh - but is he definitely my challenge.
6. Friends - I am surrounded both near and far by such amazing friends. I can't say enough about what my many friends have done for me over the years. We have had some tough challenges, mostly with sickness, pregnancies, or just weird out of the blue type things. My friends have always been there for me and my family!!
7. Family - Both mine and Josh's. Family has been a backbone for me. I am grateful my parents are only a couple of hours away. I was sad to see Josh's parents leave Tucson, but know they have their own life to live. The example of both sets of parents is something that I treasure very much. Then you add in my sister and my sister in laws that I have such great relationships with (yes, there is also a shout out for my brothers and brothers in law). I am blessed beyond measure!
8. My home - yes, it is not just a house. I love being here with my family. I don't like the desert of Tucson, but I love my family and my friends here.
9. Vehicles to drive - I feel very blessed to have the means to have a vehicle. I know that many people don't have a vehicle at all or only have one. We are blessed to have two in our family. It makes me grateful as I take my kids places and do things that I love.
10. Food - I LOVE food. I am a "foodie" as my friend Kathy Victor calls it. I love to eat - as you can tell by my weight. Ok, I am really not big, but I am certainly not where I would like to be. I feel very blessed to not have to worry about where my next meal is coming from. There are so many people throughout the world who do not have that luxury!
