My Items of Thanks...

1. Great Timing. Our flight home landed 30 minutes early so I was able to make it to church earlier than expected.
2. Service. At church several last minute things were kind of thrown at me. I asked a few people for help and they gladly stepped up and helped where I needed it. Thank you Maria & Stephanie for helping me out at the last minute. I couldn't have made it through all of my responsibilities without you!!
3. My Sister's thoughtfulness. The fruit that I am helping others can and so forth came in early so I needed to get it on Sunday instead of Monday. My sister was worried about me driving all the way up to Queen Creek and back after such a long day. She had her husband Ben load it up and meet me part way through the trip so instead of about a 4 hour drive and loading time it was only about 3 hours. Thanks Michelle and Ben!!!!
4. Peaches. The peaches I got are incredible. They are juicy; oh they are so good!!!!!
5. Horns. I have to admit that I struggled to stay away on my drive back from QC. I ran into another person's lane and the horn woke me up quite abruptly!! If the horn hadn't honked I wouldn't have opened my eyes so quickly!
6. Obedient Children. When I got home and unloaded all of the fruit I turned off the movie my children were watching. I asked them to go to bed and they went right away without complaining. It allowed me to get to bed much more quickly! The Willard's and Carter's also told me that my children were obedient and wonderful while they were in their care. I appreciate my children listening and obeying. We work hard on it at our own home and I am thankful that they use the things they have been taught outside of our home as well.
7. Helpful flight attendants. The flight attendant that assisted us on our flight home was fabulous. She was kind and so courteous. I love it when they actually seem to care about what they are doing rather than just being there for the pay check.
8. Neela. Neela Kohli is leaving on her mission in just two weeks. I was able to stop by and see her at their open house. I went early so I would have time to get up to QC and back afterward. Lynette and Neela allowed me to sit and visit. I love that family. They are so kind and supportive and just loving. I will miss Neela while she is gone, but I am so proud of her for continuing through with her promptings of serving a mission.
9. A BIG Car. In a previous post I said I was grateful for my car. Today I was grateful that it is quite big! I was able to fit all 14 boxes/flats of fruit in it without having to take out seats and move things around. It certainly made it a lot easier to change the fruit from Michelle & Ben's car a lot faster.
10. Watchful God. I mentioned it was a struggle to stay awake for my drive home. I was so tired. After I nearly ran into another car I just kept praying that I would be watched over and think of ways that I could easily stay awake. Different thoughts immediately came to mind and it was easier to stay awake and safely get the rest of the way home! I thank God above for loving me so much to watch over me!
