1. Free WiFi. I just wish I had it here in the hotel. When the rooms are as expensive as they are, you would think it would be included with the room.
2. Beautiful Weather. It was a perfect weather day in Chicago.
3. Great Company. I am surrounded by wonderful people in my life. I am grateful for the things that I learn from each of them.
4. Time to Ponder. It is amazing the things that I think of and feel when I take the time to just sit and think.
5. Creativity. I was blessed to witness many things today because people had creativity and allowed their creativity to flow and then shared it with others.
6. Tour Guides. Our Trolley/Double Decker Bus tour of Chicago was fabulous. I loved learning about the buildings and sights from someone who had so much knowledge and the love of the city.
7. New Shades. In a previous post I listed that I was grateful for sun glasses. The next day my sun glasses broke. I have been without shades since then. Finally, yesterday I found another grate pair at Water Tower Plaza and got them. It was so nice to have them on this sunny day!!!
8. Free things. With the ticket price of our tour I got a free shirt from the Millennium Park Store and a free Candy Bar from the Hershey Chocolate Store! YUM!
9. Good Treats. As if the free candy bar wasn't enough, I also purchased a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Sundae. The thing was huge and OH, it was SO GOOD!!!! I enjoyed every last bite - and then felt sick later from all of the sugar, but I am telling you, it was worth it & I walked it off later so there is no guilt!
10. Fireworks. Every Saturday night the Navy Pier does an incredible fireworks show. We were blessed to watch the show from the Observatory (on the 94th floor) of the Hancock building. This is the second tallest building in Chicago (2nd to the Sears Tower). I am simply awed by what the pyrotechnics can come up with. The intricate design of how the fireworks are put together. Then man, the "grand finale" was breath taking!
