My scary, yet funny, Lexi moment

So, I have been wanting to get on to put this post on and had not had time.

Last Wednesday I walked out to get Lexi from the bus stop. Bailey ran ahead of me. She was already down to the stop when I was only half way there. I was trying to make out the figures getting off the bus and also knew I would know when it was Lexi based on Bailey's reaction.

There were no more kids getting off the bus, but Lexi was no where to be seen. My heart was racing and I was starting to panic. At this point I finally made it up to the bus to see the driver and a huddle of kids further back on the bus. Finally I saw Lexi stand up in the middle of the confusion. She kind of staggered off of the bus. I asked her what was going on and she said she had fallen asleep. Mr. Scott told me she had fallen asleep and it took him a while to wake her up. I was grateful he was paying attention to know she needed to get off at our stop. I just had to chuckle as my sweet Lexi took my hand and we walked home together.

Oh man I would be in total panic mode not knowing for even a minute where one of my precious little ones were. I'm glad she was right where she was supposed to be!
