A new calling...

Well, I guess since I was actually set apart today I can reveal that I received a new calling today. People in my ward are probably saying, "I don't remember that!" Well, it is a stake calling. My first. I am excited about it, yet nervous at the same time.

I am the assistant to the Stake Roadshow Director. I have done the Play-In-A-Day and the dance festival a couple of times in my old ward prior to moving. However, I have never done anything on a stake level before. I am excited to work with the director. She was in our ward before it was split back in April, but I never really had a chance to get to know her. I love meeting new people and building relationships so I look forward to this opportunity.

It is interesting, though, that our opportunities to serve always seem to come when we are already busy. I honestly don't know what kind of time commitment it will be just yet, but I do know that life is already very busy. Regardless, I have been asked to serve and I am honored to do it.

That sounds exciting. Let me know if you need younger actors for the road show. Seth and Cade would like the chance to be in the play. They were not able to the last two times.

(Ryan was in the play about Joseph Smith a about 3 years ago. It was an awesome experience for the whole family. He played Samuel Smith)

What? Does that mean you are no longer our music person in Primary? That would be tragic, because we love you!
