During the spotlight we talked about MacKenzie loving the color PINK and Sleeping Beauty. She loves her Barbies and Polly Pockets, she loves to draw, color and do crafts (like her puppets - I had an example of one of them). She loves puzzles and right now we are very much into family ready. We are currently reading, The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles, by Julie Andrews Edwards. Yes, it is the Julie Andrews from The Sound of Music and Mary Poppins.
Because I was doing the spotlight I couldn't take pictures of the kids reactions. The girls loved the same things she did, and the boys had to shout out their favorite superhero instead of Disney Princess.
It was great fun for all, except Brendon. He was still tired from being woken up early from his nap, still has a bad diaper rash, just wanted Mom to hold him, and wanted all of the candy & sweets that everyone else was eating. He was stuck with the banana I had taken for him and I was busy doing the spotlight and passing out the goodies so he followed me around crying - well screaming. Too bad.
