I am thankful today...

1. Safe travels. We made it up to the Metro Phoenix area safely - Through severe wind, construction, crazy drivers & all!
2. Rain. How I love the rain. The smell, the feel, the refreshing, clean atmosphere that it provides. Plus Josh proposed to me in the pouring rain so it adds additional memories.
3. Diaper Rash creme. Brendon has never really had a bad diaper rash before. Now he has one that is fierce. I am thankful that others are prepared with the creme so we could be blessed by their generosity.
4. Luggage. When I am packing for a family of 6, well 5 this week since Josh stayed in Tucson, it is nice to have large suit cases that allow me to pack for my family's needs.
5. Food. After a long day of fasting, food is a welcomed blessing! Especially taco salad & cheese crisp. YUM!
6. Priesthood. The power of the priesthood is real. I am thankful for the blessings that come through this power to act in God's name.
7. Allergy Medication. I don't know why my allergies are so bad, but I am truly thankful for the medication I can take to alleviate the symptoms.
8. General conference. Today were the first two sessions of General Conference. Although it was a bit busy with all of the kids running around we enjoyed the spirit and love that was present. Thank you to the Willard's for opening their home and allowing us to watch it with them!
9. Activity books. For a while the kids were entertained by the activity books I had printed out. They were recognizing the faces and learning a little bit more about each of our church leaders.
10. Movies in Car. I know I have said this one before. It provides a nice drive for the kids and allows me uninterrupted time to sit and think.
