On Monday after we walked home from the bus stop I decided it was time to pull out some of our Halloween decorations. That lead to me pulling out the clippers. I trimmed the trees and all of the bushes in the front yard. It ended up being a much bigger project than I planned. Even though it was very windy and cold to the kids I was very hot from working. After I got everything cleaned up I walked into the house to find this:
Lexi had lead the girls in an effort to collect as many flowers as they could from the limbs I had cut off. Then she came inside and put them in water, got me out a fresh bottle of water and wrote me a note, "To Mom, From Alexis. I love you!"
How sweet is that?!?!?!?!?!
