Does life ever slow down?

It seems that life just continues to go by faster and faster. This week has flown by so quickly I just sit here for a moment to take a breathe and think about my week.

Sometimes I wonder what is it that really fills up my week and ultimately my life. I know that as the kids continue to grow and learn there will me many, many more things to continue to fill up the week. However, I am grateful for these times that I have now. I cherish the simple moments like when MacKenzie and Bailey are working on handwriting and get so excited when they complete a page, when Brendon says new words, Alexis gets the concepts of her homework faster and faster, or when the girls show me their dance steps from their classes. I love to watch my kids play and interact with each other. They are so helpful to each other and me.

I feel blessed every single day that I am alive and healthy to enjoy life. Life may not slow down, but more than anything I love the experiences that I have the opportunity to have every day. I am grateful that with all of the busyness of life that my family is strong; we love to be together and enjoy each other's company. The things of the world will not be allowed to get in the way of what is important.

Sorry I deleted my comment by accident. I was just trying to say thank you for writing what you wrote today. I needed to read that to put my head in the right place. You are so full of insight!

Answer: no, not ever, never.

Good news: brings us together much faster as families forever in heaven.

Bad news: we will age outwardly

Insightful news: we have much to be grateful for

Is Bailey working on writing her name? We have been practicing at preschool.
