6 days and counting...

The Stake Roadshow for the Tucson East Stake is on Saturday. Being the Assistant Stake Specialist/Director has been a big calling for me - somewhat of a challenge as my time is precious to me and this has been very involved!! However, I have been tremendously blessed for doing the best I can. In addition, I have met many new people. That has been worth it, if nothing else.

It will be exciting to watch. I know that so many individuals have put a ton of time and effort into what they are doing. I pray that things will come together seamlessly! We still have some loose ends to tie up. Hopefully we can get that worked out in the next day or so. That way it will be smooth sailing into Saturday! (Fingers crossed - knock on wood, whatever it takes).

We still need to make signs for the buildings (back stage for: green rooms, parking, entrances/exits [to the building and stage], then for those coming to see, so they will know where to go), figure out what to do with the Tucson Stake stage - it is a complete mess, final visits to wards, Tech rehearsal Friday night, then of course - all day Saturday to end with the performance at 7pm. This gets all mingled in with my "personal life" - Volunteering at the school, preschool, physical therapy, family, homework, and the list continues to go on.

I can make it through. Why? Because I am a winner, I am a Child of God endowed with seeds of greatness and I can do anything I put my mind to! - And because I have great friends so are constantly asking what they can do to help. Some have offered to come watch my kids in the evening so I can have Josh go help if need be. Thank you all for loving me so much to give of your time to help! It is appreciated more than you know!!!!!!!

Only 6 more days and counting...

Hi Trish!
Thanks for all your sweet comments on my blog. I love them!!! I was so looking foward to seeing the roadshow this weekend, especially supporting the youth, and I'm so bummed that I have to go to the auxillary training meeting :(
I may take you up on your offer to babysit...I go in for a CT scan Wed. afternoon...hopefully Karl will get off work in time, but if not maybe we can do a little babysitting switcheroo...so you can work on roadshow stuff.
I will give you a call! I hope you have a fantastic Monday!

Cripes! Sounds busy! Thanks for the idea of where to live. We looked around in the area and are planning on building a house at Swan and Valencia just west of you guys.

Trish you have been priceless in this endeavor. Thank you for doing ALL the ward visits and spending many evenings away from your husband. I was truly inspired to ask you to be my assistant!
