Happy 8th anniversary, babe.
I can say that I am truly married to my best friend. It can't believe it has already been eight years, but at the same time I feel like it has been much longer. Sometimes it is hard for me to think back to a time that didn't include you. I love you more than anything.
Just over eight years ago I was asked to move to Tucson with my job. I think back to the time that I quickly laughed and answered no. What a scary thought that is now. I am also grateful to my mom for reminding me that a huge decision such as that needed to be answered with prayer. I am glad that heeded that counsel and followed the prompting to move to Tucson. I met you, fell in love and married you - in a short four months. Amazing! Sometimes I am awed by the depth of our love. It has taken work, compromise, laughter, tears, disagreements, pure joy, and love. These eights years have been the best of my life!
Thank you for being a rock in my life. You provide humor and laughter in abundance. Although I don't always respond, your jokes, comments and antics are funny and I enjoy them. You know what I love and enjoy and always put me first. You are the leader of our home. I am thankful that you are always worthy to exercise your priesthood at all times. I am thankful for your testimony and knowledge of the gospel. I am thankful that you magnify your calling. I am thankful that you are the provider of our home so I can stay home to be a mom.
You are an incredible father to our four children. They adore you. They look up to you. I know that they don't fully grasp everything that you do for them, but I know. I know of the worry, love, heartache, joy - everything that you do on their behalf. Thank you for keeping me sane with them.
I love you more and more each day. Happy Anniversary!!!!!!
Here are some photos to recap the 8 years...
