First of all - HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!!!!
I hope 2010 brings you love, peace and joy!!
Quick pregnancy update. I have been doing better. The sickness has switched from afternoon and evenings to all morning long. Still, it has not been nearly what it originally was. There has never been a generic for Zofran before. Because of the massive expense of it, every insurance company we have had in the past has required me to start with phenegren. After 30 days of nothing, then they would "consider" approving the Zofran. It would take forever to get it. So, I would generally end up in the hospital. Now that the generic is available, it was very quick to get the medication. I have never felt this "good" (if you want to call it that) this early in a pregnancy. I do have to say, though, that the generic does not work quite as well as the name brand. However, I am not complaining. My "best friend" has been down graded to just a friend now.
We have had an outpouring of love. I did not do my pregnancy update and explanation thinking about how people would respond. I was floored by the number of calls, emails, meals, and visits that were made to make sure we were doing ok. I feel so loved and blessed and knew that we would be ok because so many others have been around to make sure things were taken care of. Thank you to you all for your love and support. It lifted my spirit and filled me with so much more love for you all!!!
So, with my pregnancy history, my doctor wanted an early ultrasound just to check everything out and make sure everything was progressing ok. I went in bright and early yesterday morning. Our little baby was so active. Arms and legs moving all over. The heartbeat was good and clear. She said that based on size she would say my due date was the 15th of July instead of the 20th. She doubts the doctor will actually change it at this point. Like it matters to me - I never make it past 38 weeks any ways. Other than that everything was great.
12 weeks down only 28 more to go...
Looking straight on at the baby. You can see the eye sockets, the round tummy and you can even see the "figure tips" of the baby's hand up by its head. All five are accounted for on that hand. So precious!!

Profile shot. You can see the outline of the nose, jaw and mouth and even its little legs curled in at the bottom. And again, the little hand is up by the head (just above the nose). Yes, I cried again. I just do that when I see the little miracle that a baby is. IT just makes everything I go through worth it.
Even with baby number five - it doesn't change!!!

Glad to hear that the sickness is improving some! It's always exciting to get an ultrasound! Cute little baby growing!
I am glad you are feeling better...at least a little. Any relief from the sickness is a blessing, I am sure. I am doing TONS better. Now almost 18 weeks, my morning sickness is all gone. Let me know if you need a sitter ever, I am good to go now :) Loved the pictures. We are due not too far from each other. I am due June 6th. Are you going to find out what the sex is? We are still debating if it will be a surprise or not...I am not sure I can hold out til the end to know, though. Seriously, Trisha, let me know if you need ANY help. I am more than willingly to watch any and all kids!
SO SO SO sweet! ♥ new babies! Sorry that you are so sick, i can totally relate :(..hang in there!
glad you are doing better...even if it's not completely better. hope the time goes by quickly for you!
Wow, that is really so neat. I always have to wait until week 23 to see the baby, so that's really cool. So glad to hear you are feeling better, even on Just Friends level.
Glad to hear baby is active! Hope you can get past the yuckies soon!
