I married my best friend. It has been a wonderful journey to get us here where we are now. I love my husband, Josh more now than I did that day so long ago.

A few things I remember about that day....
1. My (future at the time) brother in law had told Josh to watch out for the "Wicked Witch of the West" that would show up during reception set up. I was on my best behavior the rest of the time to make sure I wasn't like that. Even though we ran into several problems!!
2. It had rained - poured - for the two days leading up to our wedding day, but it was a beautiful, clear day that day.
3. One of my bride's maids just didn't show up. I still have no idea why. I didn't have contact with her for years after (not because I didn't try). I guess I am still afraid to ask her why.
4. It was a perfect day. I loved EVERY minute of it. I felt like a princess and Josh treated me (and still does) like a queen!!!
5. There was break dancing at our reception. At first I thought it was ridiculous and crazy, but it was hilarious, funny and I loved it!
6. I met most of Josh's family right after the ceremony because they all lived far away and I didn't meet them until then.
7. I have known Josh's sister much longer than I knew him. It was a very pleasant surprise to realize I would marry her brother!

Since that day....
1. 9 years & 4 1/2 kids later
2. Financial struggle
3. Financial abundance
4. Much sickness
5. Much health
6. 2 homes
7. Many family & friends have been married
8. Several family and friends have passed away
9. We have grown closer together as a couple & a family
10. I can count on two hands how many times we have NOT gone to the temple at least once a month since we were married.
11. Lots of travel - we love to travel and usually spend at least three time gone, away from the kids during the year to reconnect, recoop and enjoy each other!

To the love of my life!!!! I love you so much. I am grateful that Heavenly Father led me to you and that we have chosen to live a life of happiness, laughter, and love. Thank you for everything that you always do for me. You always put me first in everything. I love you forever and for always!!!!!

I like that you guys make a point to spend time together often (without kids) during the year. It's something I hope Chad and I can do more of.
