Spell-A-Thon

Tomorrow is the Spell-A-Thon test day!!!! I can hardly wait to have this next "chapter" of the fundraiser over and done with. I am excited to get back to the school - haven't really been there since the kick off almost three weeks ago because of sickness. (I had a wonderful day yesterday and today is shaping up to be a good day as well!) I am anxious to see the results of the test and see how well we did on our kick off year.

I have had such positive response from every parent and teacher that has contacted me. Parents are excited that is it educational, that ALL of the money goes directly to benefit the school (nothing going to an outside fundraising company) and the contributions that are made for the sponsorship are all tax deductible. It is such a win for everyone.

Today is final prep day - along with many more things that I am playing catch up with.

Wish me luck!!!!!!

PS - Lexi and Kenzie are working hard towards their sponsorship goals. Kenzie is only $10 away (which Josh & I will certainly cover). Lexi still has about $100 to go. If anyone wants to sponsor her - even with $1 or $5 flat donation/sponsorship, it would help and she would appreciate it. Every sponsor she gets she yes "YESSSSSSS". She wants to earn the iPod shuffle which means she has to raise $300. I told her she had to create the list of people to call and she has to work for her goal. She has made every call, spoken to every person, and raised the money she has committed so far all by herself. I am so proud that she is learning the value of setting a goal and achieving it.

ENJOY YOUR DAY!!!
IT IS RAINING!!!!
What isn't there to enjoy on this glorious day?!?!?!

Way to go on such a great idea (sorry I wasn't any help, I wasn't in a creative mood on that one)!! I'll have to remember it in case I end up in a position to use it. Hope all goes well!
