You wanna piece of me???

That's right I am officially a gangster now. Just kidding. Josh took me shooting yesterday. I LOVED it! There were three couples and then somewhere between 10 and 15 guys. I did alright with pistols/hand guns (glock - 22mm, 40mm, and 45mm). We hung up old Cd's onto the trees in the area and shot them down.
This is my shooting guide - Lance Brown. He helped me every step of the way. Thanks Lance!!
But my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE was the AR15. Awesome! I want one of these now. (If you click on the picture to make it larger, you can see the shell casing from the gun in the middle of my hand)
Ok, I admit. It wasn't just shooting. It was aluminum nitrate, sodium nitrate, and tannerite. We put these compounds into little bottles and used the AR15's to blow them up! It was incredible. FUN!!!!!!!!

This is Greg (and Parker) filling up some of the bottles.

An eight year old, Parker Kam, showed me up. I got handed the gun to blow up the biggest thing out there, the chair - this being my first time shooting and having all of these experienced guys around - yeah that didn't work for me. I couldn't keep it steady and missed the target twice. I handed it back off to Parker and first shot - KABOOM!!!!! Way to go Parker.

Some of the guys shooting clay pigeons.

The artillery... Ok, to say this is the artillery is a HUGE understatement!!! Most of it was kept in the back of all of the trucks that were here with us.

Jason and Wendy while we were still all setting up the "stuff"

The shooting gallery...

My brother in law, Craig (Josh's brother) and sister in law, Jen

Here is my hottie of a hubby (in the hat, plaid short, and flip flops)

It was such a fun event. If you aren't afraid of guns I highly recommend going out and trying this. I was a "blast" (pun intended)!!!!!!

Matthew was bummed he missed out. I didn't realize wives could go...maybe next time we'll drop the kids off at Grandma's and join you! I'll only been shooting once, a long time ago when Matthew and I were dating. It was scary, but fun. I am impressed with your skills :)

Yes, it is fun!! Ryan and I go a few times with the kids to teach gun safety/respect/skills, and for me to become familiar with all the guns that Ryan has.

My fave is the semi-auto with mega bullets that is something like you see from a movie.
