Round Up Super Concentrate
She always taught me to buy it like this. It is around $50 ($40 on sale in many places now). This way I can control what is actually going on and not paying for diluted spray that won't work very well. Clear back then, I got my own sprayer. Then I spray my yard usually twice a year and other than some bush maintenance, it is virtually maintenance free. I LOVE this product.2. Recently our car broke down in a big way. It was scary and we thought it was going to catch on fire. That fortunately did not happen, but it was pretty much not drivable. I had been having feelings that something was going to happen so I have been asking around and looking for a place to take our car. So far every one goes to a specialized shop - i.e. Honda place for Honda's, or to the dealership. I learned long ago not to go to dealerships and I prefer not to go to a "National Chain" type of store. They work off of national prices and always try to up-sale a repair or service. I had passed by this little "mom & pop" type of car shop several times in the last few months working on the fundraiser at the school. It was during that time that I had been praying diligently to find somewhere I could take my car. Something about it always made me think of them. It must have been inspiration.

They quickly fixed my car - got me a fantastic deal. It ended up not being the problem I thought it was after all and saved me half the money we would have spent. I could only imagine taking it somewhere else and having them "fix" the problem that I thought it was only to not have that be the problem and still have to actually get the real problem fixed. Not so with this place. The guys there were friendly and amazing. I will be taking my car here for all of my car assistance that we will need in the future.3. I Love Tootsie Rolls. I don't know what it is about them, but I just LOVE them. When I worked in an office I would buy a very large bag of the Midgees and put a bowl of them on the counter for our customers. I inevitably would end up eating half of them myself. Sometimes, handfuls at a time. Maybe they put something in them to make them addicting. Just kidding. Today I was savaging through my children's goodie bags from a recent birthday party and saw them in there. Oh, temptation. I succumbed to the temptation and ate every single original flavor tootsie roll contained in those four bags for breakfast. Not healthy I know, but so good.

4. I love sunglasses. I used to not be seen out and about without a pair on. Then of course kids come along and I can't seem to keep a pair intact. It gets frustrating. Saturday I could not get rid of a migraine that I woke up with. Hours of medication and rest trying to get rid of it did nothing for me. I finally broke down and did a pregnancy no-no and took Excedrin Migraine (which should rightfully be in my list by itself). After an hour it was still there, but I could finally feel a difference. We had to run out for an errand to Target. While I ran in I grabbed a pair of sun glasses - just a cheapy kind of brand. I just needed something to shield my eyes from the ever so bright sun that was killing my eyes and NOT helping with my headache. This is not the pair I grabbed, but I am so in LOVE with having sun glasses again!

5. I don't have a picture for this one. I love ldssplash.com. Sometimes it is difficult to find Family Home Evening (FHE) ideas that I can do to entertain all of my kids. I just need a quick 5 to 10 minutes lesson that will capture their attention. This website provides not only the ideas, but most of the visuals to go with it. I simply select the lesson I want for that week. Print off the visuals, cut them out, do literally 2 minutes of prepping and I am done. I LOVE it. I don't know for any of my friends if it would work out as perfectly for you as it does me, but give it a try. I always love new ideas that work well for my family.
6. Last, but certainly the most important.
I L.O.V.E this man.
He is the main joy in my life. I would be nothing without him. This past Friday he gave me a big surprise!!! He didn't have to go to work. YEAH!!!! He spent most of the night Thursday at a work event. I didn't see much of him at all last week with him being gone on his trip and then playing catch up for work and Bishopric responsibilities. On Friday morning as I was preparing lunches and snacks for school, I was asking him what time I could expect to see him that afternoon. His response was, "How about right now?" I just looked at him in confusion and it was then that he let me in on his little secret that he didn't have to go into work that day. He decided to tell me "after he was prayed for at work in a couple of different prayers and blessings that morning." I got to spend the entire day with him. We even doubled with some friends out on a date that night and I loved every minute with him. He supports me in everything that I have going on. And in addition to the BIG ways, he always finds little special ways to show me that he loves me. I married the best man in the entire world!!!!!

That was a great post! I'm going to have to try that weed spray!
It's not just you... I'm not on our HOA board, and I notice weeds all the time and it drives me CRAZY when people don't take care of their yards. Seriously! Take pride in ownership and go out and take care of your yard... you don't even have to spend any money! There's really (in general) no excuse...
How wonderful is that! I heard about his accedent and was so glad to hear he was okay with no injuries! (advantages to having hubs work together). I know some of the nitty gritty, and you know mine too:) I walked in to give my tith envelope on Sunday and said,"is Josh in here?" I quickly realized I wasn't in my house with him getting a hair cut I was at church where I shouldn't address him as Josh, yeah I felt pretty lame!haha hope you guys enjoy conference weekend!
