So, today marks day three. This morning the discouraging thoughts came as to, "Why am I doing this? Is he really ready?" I had to make the conscious choice to stop the thoughts and just tell myself we (I) need to get through these couple of weeks and today will only be a memory. I will be thankful once we get through it.
He had his one accident early yesterday and then had a fabulous day. No accidents, pooped in the potty, got another car, kept dry during nap time. But then the 30 min prior to bed time 2 accidents *SIGH*. He didn't wake up dry so he had to be cleaned up and bedding had to be washed *SIGH*. Then he had two successful trips to the potty and then less than 10 minutes later Lexi runs in, "B Boy pooped in his pants!" *SSSSIIIIIGGGGHHHH* Thankfully Josh was home and offered take care of it. I married the best man in the entire world!!!
And to top it off, today and tomorrow I have a doctors appointments. I am suddenly very stressed out for my friends who will be watching the kids on these two days. It is bad enough that is it Spring Break so they will have all four of my kiddos, but then to add Brendon potty training on top of it. Amanda & Sharon are wonderful and I know they can handle it, it is just me worrying and feeling bad on their behalf if he does have an accident while in their homes. They both know he is training - I explained the situation to each of them when I asked for help. I also have the best friends in this entire world - seriously, what would I do without them??? I just need to work to not worry about the if and keep working with him until we go so hopefully he will have successful outings during these times.
Day three - here we come!

IT WILL BE OK - MOMS UNDERSTAND AND YOU WOULD DO THE SAME BACK SO IF YOU HAVE OTHER MOMS TO HELP YOU THEN THAT IS AN AWESOME FEELING TO HAVE "BACK-UP". TAKE A DEEP BREATH AND LET WHATEVER HAPPENS HAPPEN. IN 6 MONTHS YOU CAN LOOK BACK AND SAY IT WAS NO BIG DEAL
You will so glad you stuck with it when baby #5 comes and you only have one kid in diapers :) YOU CAN DO IT!! You are always welcome to drop him off at my house. I would love to watch B Boy and the girls.
I'm totally taking lessons from you. Can't even THINK about it now, but when Owen gets that big, I'm totally coming to you for advice! A drop in the bucket- one day at a time.
Way to get to day 3! I actually just started today with Caiden and am in a way dreading the weekend, especially Sunday. Wouldn't mind hearing more about what method you are doing, so we will have to talk. It definitely would be easier to do it while not being pregnant, but better to do it now then when the baby comes.
I know with how close your girls are I don't have to tell you it is not fun having multiple babies in daipers! the costco bill alone. Enough said. You can do this, I am sure with it being your first boy to potty train it is harder but you can do it!There are multiple nephews I have that potty trained great but the nap/night time took a lot longer. maybe just focus on when he is awake for now? you are the expert though!good good luck! pass any tips my way:)
