Cummunity Fair

This is a catch-up post. I finally got the pictures from the camera downloaded so now I can blog about what has happened over the last couple of months.

Every year the kids' school does a community fair. This past year with being on the PTA Board I was part of the group of ladies that helped to organize it and make it happen. Originally it was planned for the cooler days of April - but we got rained out on our scheduled day so we had to move it at the last minute. I was in charge of ticket sales so the majority of my work was beforehand, but it also meant that I was the one who headed up the table as people came in and didn't get to enjoy it as much with my family. One of the reasons I am glad to not be on the board this year.

We had a fantastic turnout from the community. The vendors - let's just say some were better than others. But, over all it was FABULOUS!!!!!

The BIG slide!
Pirate Jousting...
Tattoos (and Hair painting)
Face Painting
More Hair Painting...
Digging for Buried Treasure
Pie Toss
Tricycle Races.
(Brendon's legs weren't quite long enough to do it on his own
- I obviously wasn't helping so Daddy was default.)

There was so much to do. Other things NOT pictured...Kiddie Train, Rock Wall, Bungee Run, Toilet paper toss, Obstacle coarse, shaving of balloons, and more! The kids had a blast. Daddy - not as much since he was solo-ing it for most of the time. The kids loved getting their tickets punched with each event and then got some super cool prizes at the end. We enjoyed grinder subs with soda and TONS of water for dinner. It was a god time had by all!!!
