My "baby" girl, Alexis, turns 8 today!!!! Last night as Josh and I lay in bed we were talking about the fact that her birthday is today. We just couldn't believe that these 8 years have flown by. It seems like just yesterday that we brought her home from the hospital. We were both astonished at her growth, maturity, and who she is. 
Lexi - 8 years ago you came into my life and I became a mom. You brought me a new level and depth of love that I couldn't have understood before. You are wonderful . You are intelligent. You are beautiful. You are my sunshine. I am proud of you. I am so grateful that you picked me to be your mom!!! I love you so very much.

I REMEMBER READING IT LAST YEAR...WOW! I ALSO REMEMBER YOU SAYING THAT SHE IS YOUR EXACT PERSONALITY AND THAT POPS INTO MY HEAD WHEN I DEAL WITH MY OWN FIRSTBORN WHO IS A COPY OF MY PERSONALITY. YIKES! BUT IT IS NICE TO THINK ABOUT HOW THEY GOT HERE AND HOW MUCH THEY HAVE GROWN AND HOW MUCH YOU TRULY LOVE BECAUSE OF THEM. I HOPE YOU ENJOY HER BIRTHDAY AS MUCH AS SHE DOES!
