My fun project

I told you in my "Changes..." post that I would show my fun project that I am in to lately. I saw something similar to this in a crafting magazine so I created a couple of my own versions of this. (You can click on the pictures to enlarge them and look at them more closely.)

This one I gave to Josh for Christmas this last year. It currently hangs on the wall in his office at work.

I made this one for MacKenzie and Bailey's preschool teacher, Heather. Heather said it was the first gift that would last (i.e. not a lotion set, candle, or git card to be used up, or flowers that all go away. She was so excited to get a gift that would last - I am glad you like it Heather!!!!) Heather hangs it proudly in her preschool room for all to see.

Thank you to Josh and Heather for taking pictures of them and emailing them to me so I can share this fun idea. I also did larger versions of the family one for both mine & Josh's parents the beginning of June (their wedding anniversaries are one day apart). Then I also did three "1st grade" projects for Lexi's teacher and her two assistants. It was making those four at one time that I was up all night as mentioned in that same "changes..." post. Even though the idea is similar for all - they are each unique and specialized for whomever I am giving it to. Try it out if you like - they are a great gift!!!!

What an genius idea! I can't believ nobody had ever given the preschool teacher a gift that would last (until your gift). I bet she loved it!

I need to make something fun...
