Yesterday I made it to sacrament meeting for church. It was my first time out other than Dr's appointments and a couple of trips to the hospital in the last 5 weeks. It was exhausting and I came home and slept.
Tomorrow is the start of my 37th week so we are ready to rock and roll at any time. Today I went and walked with a friend for an hour - just trying to move baby along. After walking there is a tremendous amount of pressure - so much that I can barely walk, but NO CONTRACTIONS!!!! AAAAAHHHHHH! Call me crazy, but I am done.
The kids behavior has been improving. They are at home almost all the time so they are getting used to our own home rules again. We are still working out a few more issues - mostly revolving around being so emotional and tattle telling! Naps have been happening again so even Brendon is much more pleasant.
Every few minutes the kids ask me if it is time for me to go to the hospital. I am very serious about that and NOT exaggerating whatsoever!!!!! It is literally every 5 to 15 minutes that one of them walks into where ever I am to ask me if it is time for me to go to the hospital yet. They are so anxious to meet their baby sister. Now it is just - "Can't you just call the hospital and tell them you want to come?" I only wish it were that easy. The phone call would have been made this morning if that were the case!!!!
We did tell them a couple of weeks ago that her name starts with an "A". So now, they are constantly hugging on my tummy and talking to "A". "We love you 'A.'" "Good night, 'A.'" "When are you coming to see us, 'A?'" I love it. I am glad that they are this excited about her coming. Even our little man is running around the house stating he is a big boy and a big brother. Yesterday he kept swinging the swing and asking when baby would be in it. He is constantly pointing to me tummy and saying - "Baby".
I am even cranking things off of my to-do list - most are just sitting projects so it was very easy to get these things done!!!!:
- I got a couple of sewing projects done - one was just a HUGE pile of mending. The other was taking over 20 pairs of my girls jeans/pants that I would have tossed because of monstrous holes in the knees and cut them and hemmed them into shorts. They LOVE them!!! And I love that they are long and modest!!!!
- I fixed a whole bunch of hair bows and flowers that had been destroyed over the last couple of months,
- I got said hair bows and flowers all hung up.
- I got my sisters mail all scanned in and emailed to her (she lives in China and I am her state-side address). I hadn't done this since being put on bed rest 5 weeks ago.
- I got a box packed to have shipped to her.
- I have read 12 books.
- I have cleaned a couple of my bathrooms.
- I have gotten ALL of the never ending laundry done!
- All of the baby items are sorted, cleaned, put away.
- My hospital bag is packed.
- I even sorted through all of the clothes bins that I have had laying around the house. They are now sorted by gender and size and put away nicely and out of sight!!!
- Checkbook has finally been balanced.
- Projects for my work/business have been completed.
- Basic arrangements have been made for when the "event" actually happens.
If nothing happens until next week we have our C-Section date of the 7th. At MOST I have 9 - yes, count them, 9 days left!!!! I just found out today that my sister in law is being induced that day! So - there could be a possibly that these two cousins have the same birthday. We tried that back in 2005 when Bailey was born. There were three of us due all at the same time. They didn't come on the same day, but what we did do was have one each day, 8th, 9th, and 10th. Unfortunately I was last! If I do have to wait until the 7th, it will just depend on how long it takes for her to induce and deliver to know if it will be the same day or if she will deliver on the 8th! I am curious to see how this will play out this time.

OK - Baby GIRL. Come join our family. We are all ready and you have been baking long enough that it is now safe!!!!!
We will keep you posted on the process - Dr's appointment tomorrow. Please just tell me that we have progressed far enough that I can go across the street to have a baby!!!!!! That would be my ideal (if it doesn't happen today of course).

Wow you are amazing. It would take me a month to get all of that finished and I have no good excuses. I hope little "A" comes soon so everyone can met their little sister.
I am so excited for you! I hope baby "A" comes sooner than later, for your kids' sakes! How cute that they are so anxious.
Best wishes for a safe delivery and a fast recovery!
so exciting! the safety zone seems to be the longest wait - i remember! good luck whenever she comes!
I'm so glad you made it! Can't wait to hear her name and see pictures. Congratulations on getting so much done--you are amazing.

You are SO amazing!! Love you.
Oh Baby A - can't wait for her to get here and hear her name! :) And I cannot BELIEVE how ambitious you are - my goodness!! It must be that nesting instinct in full-gear. Hope she comes soon - wouldn't it be cool if she were born on Sunday? Your little 'firecracker'? :)
