He is all boy!!

A week ago today I could not get the boy from climbing on things. Every couple of minutes I was asking him to get down or taking him down. After a small fall I thought he was scared enough to keep from climbing. I was WRONG! I was sitting at the computer working on some things and saw him out of the corner of my eye standing on another, less stable chair in the office. I turned just to see him falling - face first in the handle of our wood file cabinet. I tried to get him, but got to him just as he hit. I am sure I was able to keep him from getting the full blow of it, but still, he ended up with a "nice" goose egg on his forehead!

Here is is saying, "See! See, ouchy!"

You can see the ice pack I was desperately trying to get on his head in the background. He wanted nothing to do with the ice pack.

Don't you just love boys :)!!! I used to worry that Owen would have permanent forehead damage because he fell and climbed so often. It makes being a mother exciting anyway. Poor guy! He looks like a trooper, and so cute :)

Oh Benden, thank you so much for letting me know what I have to look forward to. In some small way I think it will make it easier for me.

ah man... that is one whopper of a goose egg. those moments while kids are falling literally make our heart stop. Nature designed woman to have strong hearts and made of even sterner stuff...

I can't tell you how many of those Aidan has had! He's fallen onto and into everything! I am glad he's ok...brace yourself, I am sure there are many more climbing sessions to come :)
