Once the pictures ended we had a potluck picnic and play time. Menu: Michelle & I did big sub sandwiches. Michelle also did apples. Phil & Tiff did all of the chips, Mom & Dad: Potato salad, devilled eggs (YUM!) and drinks, Drew & Jen did deserts! Another Yum! Hey I openly admit that I am a foodie!
For fun mostly the kids took Ben & Michelle's wagon & Grandpa's cart from the top of the hill & would run it down like they were on a roller coaster. I admit I did get on once to try it out, but seriously - that is not for me. There were a few topples here and there but for the most part they all had fun!

Drew & Phil played Bochie (sp??) balls for a while. Then of course - the frisbee. What Chapman function would be complete without the frisbee. Dad inherited my Grandparents volleyball stands and net. We were going to get that up and going, but never had the time.
Poor Shawn ended up with most of the brunt from the day's activities. Somehow he missed the ball when Grandpa was playing catch with him and he has a monster size goose egg right smack in the middle of his forehead. Then he and I think Lexi biffed it in the wagon and he also had a huge bruise welt coming in that went straight down his face. Poor guy!
Gifts were exchanged and then we had to start saying good-bye.
As we left the park, we ran our gifts to Josh's siblings that live in Gilbert/Queen Creek. I was glad to see each of them one last time before Christmas. All in all it was a spectacular day!
